Introducing...
D-VOICE!
Question
Ok, it is a given that you use a pager with vibrate capability, but how do you convey the message to someone who can not read? The answer is that you use a pager that converts alphanumeric text to THE SPOKEN WORD!
Our new DV500 Series pagers can do just that! You can call into a standard paging system using a regular telephone, then enter several numbers corresponding to pre-programmed internal messages, or you can use a PC connected to a modem to dial into the host paging service to send any message you choose!
If your needs are only for on-site use such as a church, campus, or hospital, the DV500 can be used in conjunction with an on-site paging system such as D-NRS.
If you are in the Birmingham, Alabama area, you can set up service on our SpeedPage system that currently serves Jefferson, Shelby, Blount and parts of Bibb, Chilton, Cullman, Etowah, Marshall, St. Clair, Talladega, Tuscaloosa, and Walker counties through a local Birmingham access number or a toll free national access number.
The DV500 is also ideal for emergency alerting of fire and rescue personnel since all messages are stored, time and date stamped and given in the traditional voice format. While the emergency personnel prefer voice paging, the fact is that a modern dispatch center is simply not well suited to the transmission of voice communications.
Microphones, speakers, and press to talk buttons have no place in todays dispatch operation centers.
Today, the trend is toward Computer Aided Dispatching. The DV500 allows the dispatch center to use conventional keyboard entry or even automated CAD dispatching used in conjunction with Caller ID and pre-determined call processing information.
The DV500 is fully compatible with D-WORD as well as all public-paging systems offering VHF or UHF POCSAG service. Additional information is available by clicking on the picture of the pager above. If you have immediate questions, please send us an email to sales@falconwireless.net. The DV500 has been submitted for approval to DOC and FCC for use in the United States and Canada.
