We've been around in one form or another since 1981 with the formation of Nu-Way Marketing, Inc., a manufacturer's representative firm, specializing in service to radio communications dealers and those who manufactured communications products.  In 1987, we moved into our present facility shown at the left and by 1990, Nu-Way was one of the top ten firms of its type in the USA. 

One of the things we said we would never do was to become a dealer.  Falcon Direct was established as a dealer in 1990, and almost immediately became the largest reseller of voice communications pagers in the USA.  Oh well, we all change with time don't we?

By 1995, we decided it was time to diversify, which we did by establishing three retail stores to sell pagers and cell phones.  We also built our own paging company, known as SpeedPage, and began selling Motorola wireless nursery paging systems to churches.  Within a year, Falcon was one of the top three retailers of Nextel phones in the Birmingham area.  The paging company was one of the first in the USA to address the specific needs of public safety, and the company rapidly moved to become the second largest supplier of church nursery paging systems in the USA.

In 1999, the name was changed to Falcon Wireless to more accurately reflect the various activities of the company.  At that time, limited manufacturing was initiated and by 2001, the design of a complete family of products was initiated, under the code name of D-Family.

By the end of the first quarter of 2002, many of these products were ready for introduction to those we serve.  Many of these products have been designed and manufactured at our Birmingham, Alabama facilities.  Others are the result of strategic alliances developed with other developers of advanced wireless technology.

Our traditional business activities continue to flourish.  In April of 2002, Falcon Wireless received an award for the first digital voice and data system in the USA to operate on UHF frequencies.  This was a combined effort by Falcon Wireless and Digital Wireless Corporation, one of our strategic business partners.  You will learn more about this product in the D-VIP section of this web site.
